“I cannot praise Walhampton's resilience and commitment to the wellbeing of the children enough. I can see my daughter making progress from week to week as she attempts tasks at home. We are so thankful."
Through the COVID-19 pandemic, Walhampton is following Government guidelines to keep our community safe whilst maintaining a 'can-do' attitude to find creative solutions that ensure we continue to offer our children and staff a place where they can work hard and have a joyful experience at school.
The overarching principle is for us to maintain the delivery of a broad curriculum while reducing the contact between pupils, staff and parents. We are achieving this by making full use of our extensive grounds, and by keeping pupils in separate year group bubbles.
Walhampton is also fully committed to the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) “COVID-safe charter”. This is an extensive checklist for us to ensure that throughout our boarding provision we are doing everything to the highest possible standards to keep our community safe. Full details of the charter can be found here.
We continue to watch the Government’s guidance carefully and adapt accordingly.
The information below provides the latest details about how we are delivering a full and varied education, whilst ensuring we have robust safety measures in place.
