Saturday 5th July saw the Walhampton community come together for our annual Founders' Day as we celebrated the end of the academic year, our achievements and our cohort of 2025 Year 8 leavers. We welcomed Elizabeth Stone, Headmaster of Winchester College, as our guest speaker who spoke eloquently about childhood and the importance of a little boredom at times. Our outgoing Head Boy and Girl gave a wonderful speech about their fond time at Walhampton and we welcomed our new 2025/26 Head Boy and Girl to the stage.

Each Year 8 leaver received a personal farewell as they collected their prize and the day culminated with a Tug of War and picnics on the lawn (and the marquee as we sheltered from the rain!). Congratulations to Shackleton who triumphed in the house Tug of War but narrowly lost out to the alumni in the final!
