“When your children dance around the room for joy as you tell them they can go back to school, it shows there is something very special about the place.”
Walhampton is following Government guidelines to keep our community safe whilst maintaining a 'can-do' attitude to find creative solutions that ensure we continue to offer our children and staff a place where they can work hard and have a joyful experience at school.
The overarching principle is for us to maintain the delivery of a broad curriculum while reducing the contact between pupils, staff and parents. We are achieving this by making full use of our extensive grounds, and by keeping pupils in separate year group bubbles.
Walhampton is also fully committed to the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) “COVID-safe charter”. This is an extensive checklist for us to ensure that throughout our boarding provision we are doing everything to the highest possible standards to keep our community safe. Full details of the charter can be found here.
We will continue to watch the Government’s guidance carefully. There may be further changes before, and during, the Spring term.
The information below provides more details about how we are delivering a full and varied education, whilst ensuring we have robust safety measures in place.
