Walhampton's Big Bake Off
The tension was high in the 'Little Kitchen' during Walhampton's Big Bake Off. Year 6.1 produced some very creative cakes after their lessons with Mrs. Pidsley during English. The WALT (What We Are Learning To) suddenly came to life as work on recipes and instructions materialised into a grand competition! Everyone submitted an entry and the star judges our Head Chef, Mr. Gibbs and the Headmaster, Mr. Mills tasted and tested the superb entries. It is rumoured that one of the contestants actually stood in a kitchen for as much as seven hours to produce her masterpiece. After much deliberation and more tasting the winners were announced.
Amber - The tastiest Cake
Scarlet - The best looking cake
Ben and Peter - The most stylish cake
All of the cakes were tremendous. Thanks go to all of the entrants as well as their home teams who contributed to this tasty event.
