Walhampton Headmaster, Titus Mills said

Walhampton School Headmaster

"I am delighted to report that all twenty six of our Year 8 candidates passed their Common Entrance exams to their senior schools. It is an impressive array of destinations to which they will be heading at the end of this term – Ballard, Bryanston, Canford, Clayesmore, Hampshire Collegiate, King’s Bruton, King Edwards VI, King’s Taunton,  Marlborough, Monkton Combe, Radley,  Sherborne, Sherborne Girls, The Gregg,  Winchester. As the Headmaster, I felt privileged to be able to stand opposite each one of our Year 8 pupils, in my study, and shake their hand while announcing the good news. Our pupils have waited a long time for this moment. It has been the culmination of years of hard work. For some, it was the culmination of twelve years at Walhampton. Consequently, there were tears, shouts of joy and a few dazed expressions. The relief was truly palpable. This is my second year of telling Walhampton children that they have passed their CE exams, and I can say, hand on heart, it is the highlight of my year.  We are immensely proud of them all."
